An Omega Chain is an assembly of tiny metallic plates or metallic discs that mimics the appearance of a traditional chain. 
The plates come together in an underlying flexible mesh sheet of woven wire in the eye pleasing Omega pattern.
The segments of an Omega are parallel to each other and run across the width of the necklace. The assemblage is flexible because the links are independent of one another and are supported by the flexible mesh substrate. In this fashion, attractive jewelry items are crafted that seem rigid, but are flexible & thus appealing to the wearer.
